          Postpartum Doula Care

As I study to become fully certified as a postpartum doula, I'm offering discounted postpartum doula services for $18 per hour. (service from 9pm-9am $21 per hour-this service is temporarily unavailable).
No charge for the initial interview for which there is no obligation, or for the planning appointment if one is desired.

A postpartum doula can do anything the mother or family need her to.  It could mean breastfeeding support, running errands, caring for other family members,  house work/cooking, or maybe the new mom would just like somebody to help with the baby while she showers or eats and takes care of herself.

The list of things a postpartum doula can do is really endless and so are the benefits of having one.  A mother doesn't have to be overwhelmed or having challenges to need a postpartum doula, the idea is to prevent those things from happening.  In fact research has proven that doulas reduce the risk of postpartum mood disorders like postpartum depression and baby blues significantly, and allow for increased breastfeeding success rates.

A newborn baby really does need constant care and they grow and change so quickly, wouldn't it be nice for the mother to put all her focus on the baby and leave the dishes and the laundry to the doula?

Ask for the gift of a doula.  Gift certificates available in any amount on the shopping page.  Who better than a children loving birth professional to come and mother the new mother?
